I am beginning to feel like an expectant mom. Since I've never actually been pregnant, I can only speak from heresay, but these are the symptoms:
a) A seemingly ordinary er.....event launched a multitude of fertile er......ideas that have resulted in a project that has grown by leaps and bounds, taking on a life of its own and getting ready to fly into the world in just a few days.
b) An overwhelming sense of eager anticipation.
c) I can hardly wait to see how it all turns out.
d) Tons of last minute preparations.
e) n endless stream of what ifs running through my head.
f) A strong sense that this is going to happen whether I am ready or not (....hears Meryl Streep in Heartburn saying to Jack Nickholson, "Honey, can't we get someone else to do this?").
g) Tired, stressed, and a little bloated from sitting too long.
Any of that sound familiar? Phew. Glad I'm not the only one.
As you know, my little baby is The Second Life Story Quest, due to be born at midnight on March 20 and run until 9:00 pm that same day.
You should also know that anyone who finishes gets a neat little present and the chance to win larger cash prizes and publication. So set some time aside on the 20th to do the Quest. Remember the five genres are:
1. Murder Mystery
2. Romance
3. Sci Fi
4. Fantasy
5. Creative non-fiction with an emphasis on health and healing
