There is something so exhilarating about starting a new build in Second Life. It feels a lot like setting up a blank canvas. You have an idea and begin to sketch it out. Then it gradually takes on a life of its own until eventually it is leading you - showing you what it wants. I just love that feeling.
I got a good dose of building exhilaration from creating the new Poetry Garden and Gallery on Storybook. It's designed around a spiral and features the work of all the poets who participated in the Poetry Quest.
We'll be celebrating their work (we have good poets in Second Life) and the opening of the garden on Sunday, May 10 at the 2009 Poetry Quest Awards Ceremony here on Storybook. Eight poets will be sharing their work, including the two top who managed to turn in a poem a day. Quite an accomplisment!
